Plumbing leaks and Air Quality Problems

Healthy Homes, Inc. is now a registered dealer for the FloLogic® System 2000, a preventative tool for moisture control. Contact Ron McIrvin for further information on pricing.  Plumbing leaks are a significant cause of water soaked building materials thus creating an opportunity for molds to grow. In addition to damaging the materials on which they are growing, some molds produce spores, mycotoxins and microscopic fragments which become airborne and can cause allergies and other reactions.  The FloLogic System 2000 detects leaks and turns the water off thus limiting the extent of the water damage and reducing the risk of mold growth.

Property damage resulting from sudden and accidental water loss ranks number two -behind only hurricanes -in both the number of homes damaged and the dollar amount of insurance claims in the U.S. Now you can protect your home against this everyday threat with the FloLogic® System 2000, "the circuit breaker for your home plumbing system.”® It can help prevent thousands of dollars in water damage-not to mention potential mold remediation nightmares-due to washing machine hose ruptures, water heater leaks, and other common water loss problems.

The patented FloLogic System uses a linear flow sensor to monitor water flow into your home, and automatically shuts off the water supply when it detects excessive flow caused by ruptured lines or continuously running appliances. The system sounds a low decibel alarm to alert you so the discharged water may be quickly removed to minimize potential damage. It can also be connected to your home security system to contact your monitoring service when a leak is detected. A simple to use wall- mounted panel with an LCD display controls the system, and comes preset for "HOME" and “AWAY" modes based on typical water use patterns. Also, the control panel is easily reprogrammed, allowing you to match your own water use habits.

You already have safety devices for fire and theft (such as fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and deadbolt locks). Now with the proven FloLogic System 2000, you can add automatic security against costly water damage, and stop leaks before a small mess becomes a huge problem.
